Wild harvested New Caledonian Sandalwood (Santalum astrocaledonicum) Essential Oil. Very similar in character to Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album), New Caledonian Sandalwood is a less threatened species, and therefore a more ethical choice.
Sandalwood devotees will find that this oil is less costly than Indian Sandalwood, very comparable in character, and extremely enjoyable. It blends very well with other oils, lending a lasting scent to fragrance blends.
Slightly more herbaceous and light than Indian Sandalwood, slightly less musky, it still retains the unmistakeable odor of a true Sandalwood. Combines extremely well with Jasmine, Rose, and other floral scents.
