This Certified Organic Rubbed Sage (Salvia officinalis) is a wonderful cooking spice, and makes a flavorful tea. As Sage is mildly astringent, it can be used to swish over sores in the gums to relieve mild discomfort. An old proverb states, “Why should a man die, who has sage in his garden?”
