Description
Bentonite clay is derived from naturally occurring volcanic ash sediments here in the U.S. Also known as “montmorillonite clay”, its natural softness makes it a nice ingredient in facial masks.
Although it has traditionally been used as a dietary supplement to assist in mineral deficiencies, and has historically been used to help bind toxins and carry them out of the body, it is not currently recommended for internal use.
